Birthday Wishes and Cards for Men

Here's another handful of card examples for the men in your life! Make sure to check out my previous post about using masculine materials for your cards. It will keep them looking oh-so-manly!


Birthday Wishes




Title: Birthday Wishes
Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”

Supplies:
Patterned paper, twine, die cut accent tag, letter stickers

Instructions:
1.      Cut B to size.  Adhere to card base.
2.      Cut C to size and adhere to card.
3.      Wrap twine (about 12”) around card front, adding on accent tag and knotting in front.
4.      Add letter stickers.

Prehistoric

Title: Prehistoric birthday
Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”

Supplies:
Patterned paper (Basic Grey - Archaic), ink, corrugated cardboard, rub-on image, edge distressing tool, letter stickers (Cosmo Cricket - Tiny Type), paper piercer and mat, thin black cord

Instructions:
1.      Cut papers to size. Ink edges and adhere to card base.
2.      Cut paper strip to size, ink edges and adhere to card.
3.      Add rub-on image to paper, trim to size, distress edges with tool or edge of scissors.
4.      Tear corrugated cardboard a little larger than main image.  Tear off one side of paper to expose ridges.
5.      Adhere image to cardboard.
6.      Pierce holes in accent piece and tie onto card with cording.
7.      Add letter stickers.

Character values

Title: Character values
Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”

Supplies:
Patterned paper (Basic Grey - Vagabond), die cut cardstock circle, metal photo corners, fibers, computer-generated text, wire spiral, glue dots

Instructions:
1.      Cut papers to size.
2.      Die cut circle from cardstock, ink edges and adhere to center of paper.
3.      Create wire spiral (See this blog post).
4.      Print character values from computer and trim closely.
5.      Tie fibers to edges of wire spiral and center on card front securing tails in back.
6.      Insert printed words into spiral, securing with glue dots on back of words.

7.      Attach photo corners to card front and adhere to card base.
