In Search of and Praise of Creativity

I can usually find creative inspiration most everywhere. In church, at the beach, in a hotel, at a restaurant. But this past weekend I found it at a music festival. My DH and I went for the weekend to visit my BFF in Jacksonville, FL. She and her husband live on the river with this fabulous view.

One of the many events on our trip, but an impromptu one at that, was the Natural Life Festival in Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, FL.

FREE Fonts for masculine cards

There may be times when you will want to print out a font that will complement the look of your masculine embellishments. Those fonts may be ones that look sporty, bloody(!), or like a tattoo.  Maybe they are ones that remind you of a specific cartoon, game, or movie.

A Little History and some Luck O' the Irish for St. Patrick's Day!

Tuesday, March 17th is St. Patrick's Day. A little luck and green clothing never hurt anyone. But where in the world did St. Patrick's Day originate? I'd say probably in Ireland, wouldn't you?

Actually, St. Patrick was not even Irish, although he is known as the patron saint of Ireland.

Feeling Blue? Get Well Cards for You!

So much cold weather! Yes, I am in Florida and there's absolutely no comparison between our winter and the extreme weather that those to the north of us are experiencing. I am grateful I live in the Sunshine State!

But with all of this crazy winter weather, there are many folks who have been bitten by the flu bug or have horrible allergy issues. I am sure you know at least one person who is suffering. Send a handmade card to your friend who is feeling blue. What a great pick-me-up it would be.

A Little Birdie... (1)

Here's a few Get Well cards I had loads of fun making.
