Christmas Cards, Tags, and Bags using Sketches, Part 7

Christmas Season card

Title: “Christmas Season” card
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #7
·         Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”
·         Measurements: A- 4”x 5.25”, B- (tree lights sticker) 5.25” x 1”, C - (scallop die cut) 5.25” x 1.75”, D – 3” x 2.25”

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, die cut scallop, stickers, sewing machine, thread

Instructions:
1.      Cut A to size.  Adhere to card base.
2.      Attach scallop (C) to top of card base.
3.      Add tree lights sticker to top.
4.      Machine stitch perimeter of card, if desired.
5.      Attach snowflake and sentiment stickers.

Joy to the World card

Title: “Joy to the World” card
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #7
·         Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”
·         Measurements: A- 4” x 5.25”, C – 5.25” x 1.5”, D – 2” x 0.5”

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, chipboard star, chipboard sentiment, Krylon gold leafing pen, metallic trim, Glossy Accents, sewing machine, metallic thread

Instructions:
1.      Cut A to size.  Adhere to card base.
2.      Cut C to size.  Adhere to left edge of card.
3.      Stitch metallic trim to edges of C using long, thin zigzag stitch.
4.      Add gold leaf pen to edges of sentiment.  Attach to right of C.

5.      Add gold leaf to star.  Add Glossy Accents on top.  Let dry.  Attach to C.

Merry Christmas Card

Title: “Merry Christmas” card
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #7
·         Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”
·         Measurements: A – 4” x 5.25”, B – (cream felt scallop) 5.25” x 0.5”, C – 5.25” x 1”, D – 2.5” x 0.5”

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, felt scallop trim, printed twill, metal accent, sewing machine, thread


Instructions:
1.      Cut A to size.  Attach to card base.
2.      Cut C to size.  Adhere B to back of each side.  Attach C to top of card base.
3.      Machine stitch perimeter of card and edges of C.

4.      Mount metal accent on paper, trim.  Attach to C.

Merry Christmas tag

Title: “Merry Christmas” tag
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #7
·         Tag Base: 2.5” x 5”
·         Measurements: A – 2.5” x 5”, B – thin green ribbon, D – 2.25” x 0.75”

Supplies: Tag, paper, distress ink, novelty fabric book paper, sentiment ribbon, foam tape, glitter glue, foam squares, twine

Instructions:
1.      Adhere book paper to tag. Distress edges with ink.
2.      Wind thin ribbon several times around left side of tag. Knot in back.
3.      “Fussy Cut” holly from fabric.  Glue to tag. Add glitter glue to holly berries.
4.      Mount sentiment to cardstock. Adhere to bottom of tag with foam squares.
5.      Add twine to tag hole.

Happy Holidays gift bag

 Title: “Happy Holidays” gift bag
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #7
·         Bag Base: 6” x 12” (large lunch bag)
·         Measurements: A – 5.75” x 9”, B- (green)1.5” x 9”3”, C – 1” x 9”, D – 3.75” x2.75”


Supplies: Bag, patterned paper, silk flower, circle punch, die cut sentiment, foam squares

Instructions:
1.      Cut patterned paper to size of A.  Adhere to bag.
2.      Cut paper to size of B.  Adhere to bag.
3.      Cut paper to size of C.  Adhere to bag.
4.      Fold flower in half and adhere to C.
5.      Punch circle and adhere in flower center.
6.      Adhere die cut sentiment with foam squares.
