Christmas Cards, Tags, and Bags using Sketches, Part 6

Time for another round of Christmas Cards, Tags, and Bags using Sketches! If you've missed any part of this series, make sure to catch up!

A Bright and Happy Christmas card

Title: “A Bright and Happy Christmas” card
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #6
·         Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”
·         Measurements: A- 4”x 5.25”, B- 0.5” x 5.25”, C- 2.5” x 3.75”

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, ribbon, silk flowers, image, border sticker, bling

Instructions:
1.      Trim paper to size of A and adhere to card front.
2.      Trim B to size and adhere 0.5” from left side.
3.      Attach border sticker to B.
4.      Fold sheer ribbon over top left corner of image.  Adhere in back. Repeat for lower right corner. Adhere image askew onto card.
5.      Layer two flowers and adhere to left edge of image. 
6.      Add bling in center of flower.


Merry Christmas card

 Title: “Merry Christmas” card
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #6
·         Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”
·         Measurements: A- 4” x 5.25”, B – 1” x 5.25”, C – 3” x 1.5”

Supplies: Gold metallic paper, paper, velvet ribbon, chipboard sentiment, embossing folder and machine, fuzzy leaf element

Instructions:
1.      Cut A to size.  Dry emboss and attach to card front.
2.      Cut B to size and adhere to card front.
3.      Slip leaf element into knotted ribbon.
4.      Adhere knotted velvet ribbon on paper piece.
5.      Adhere chipboard sentiment.



'Tis the Season card

Title: “‘Tis the Season” card
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #6
·         Card Base: 4.25” x 5.5”
·         Measurements: A- 4”x 3.75”, B- 1.5” x 4”, C – 2.75” x 1.5”

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, ribbon, embossing folder and machine, chipboard sentiment, sewing machine, thread

Instructions:
1.      Cut A to size.  Dry emboss and adhere to card front.
2.      Cut paper to size of B.  Adhere to card front.
3.      Stitch pleated ribbon (see Lesson 1 Ribbon Tutorial) and adhere to paper strip.

4.      Adhere chipboard sentiment.


Naughty or Nice tag

Title: “Naughty or Nice” tag
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #6
·         Tag Base: 3.25” x 4.75”
·         Measurements: A- 3.25” x 3”, B – 0.5” x 3”, C – 2-3/8” x 1-7/8”

Supplies: Tag, paper, distress ink pad, ribbon, chipboard sentiment, holly element


Instructions:
1.      Cut paper to size of A.  Tear bottom edges. Rub ink on all edges.  Adhere to tag base.
2.      Adhere ribbon to edge of tag.
3.      Adhere chipboard sentiment.

4.      Adhere holly element.




Kraft Gift Bag

Title: Ribbon gift bag
Basic Info:
·         Sketch #6
·         Bag Base: 8” x 10.5”
·         Measurements: B- 2.5” x 10.5”, C – 4.5” x 3.5”

Supplies: Bag, cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, chipboard oval, embossing folder and machine, sewing machine, thread
Instructions:
1.      Cut paper to size of B and adhere about 1” from left edge of bag.
2.      Cut 10.5” of 1” wide ribbon and adhere to paper strip.
3.      Prepare “ribbon candy” (See Lesson 1 Ribbon Tutorial) stitching layers.  Adhere on top of ribbon strip.
4.      Dry emboss cardstock, adhere to chipboard oval and trim.


**I’ve prepared the bag without a sentiment so I can later add my recipient’s name with letter stickers to the oval.
