All About Adhesives Tutorial Series, Dry Adhesives - Part 1

Hello there! I'm back again for the first video in the topic of Dry Adhesives. In this lesson we will cover: Glue Sticks, Glue Dots, Foam Dots /Squares, Photo Tab/Stickers/Mounting Squares, Mounting Corners/Photo Corners, and Adhesive/Glue Runners.

Glue Stick Tip: Only unscrew a small bit of glue and rub it perpendicular to the paper.  You don’t need a lot.  If you do get a big glob, use an old hotel key and scrape it smooth.  Make sure you get glue all the way to the edges. Press down item to ensure adhesion.

Photo Tab Tip: These tabs are plenty sticky if you will be placing your layouts in page protectors, but I’d definitely use a different adhesive if your scrapbook pages won’t be in protectors.

Photo Corner Tip: If you have paper photo corners, you can paint them with acrylic paints and color them to coordinate with your artwork. Let them dry well before adding to photos!

So what is your favorite type of dry glue? Are you a glue stick gal? Or maybe you love a good tape runner, like me.  Let me know!
